Youth PB 2023-2024

2023-2024:

• Young people were asked to consider the themes: Personal Development, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Community Safety, Accessibility and Environment. Some of the budget (£12,500) was ringfenced for environmental projects by East Renfrewshire Council. YoungScot partnered with ER Youth Voice and supplied an extra £2,000 - making the grand total £14,500 to give away 🙌
• 30 projects applied for a share of £14,500 including: community youth groups like youth clubs, young parent groups, sports clubs, film clubs, trips for local youth groups, wellbeing groups, and a beekeeping project!
• 19 projects were funded informed by the 224 individual voters who made a total of 896 choices - 4 per voter.
